ExperienceI would like to be a tutor, because I have a passion for helping students learn. I get joy out of helping a student understand a topic or concept that they have previously struggled with. I feel like I have the qualifications to be helpful, especially for those who are interested in getting into either medical or veterinary school.
I'm in the veterinary medical science training program at the University of Georgia, which means that I had been simultaneously working on my Ph.D. in Physiology and Pharmacology and my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. I finished my Ph.D. in 2014. While this is true, I am still capable of putting difficult concepts into words that other people who are not versed in the lingo will understand (I have practice with my computer-guru parents and husband).
HobbiesI have a 3-year-old daughter and 3 rescue dogs. I enjoy reading for fun. I like going on mission trips and hanging out with friends on the weekend. I'm pretty chill, but very organized. I love to be helpful!
