I graduated cum laude with honors from the University of Georgia in 2012. I majored in Middle School Education, specializing in Language Arts and Social Studies. I also have my gifted and ESOL endorsements.
Experience
I taught language arts and social studies for three years in GA and SC public schools. I also taught all age groups (pre-K through adult) at the Institute of Reading Development. While there, we focused on reading comprehension and retention strategies. I also instructed students in speed reading methods and note taking skills. Prior to this, I tutored peers throughout my high school and college years. I volunteered at Oasis Catolico and East Athens tutorial center tutoring elementary school students while I was a student at UGA.
