I graduated in May (2015) from Berry College with a BS in Mathematics and minor in Business Administration. I earned a cumulative 3.99 GPA.
Experience
I have 3+ years tutoring experience at Berry College, Wyzant, Varsity Tutors, and Rome Open Door Home. I have worked with students ages 7 to 22. I received an ACT Composite score of 31. With a math degree comes numerous math courses throughout the years. Thus, most math subjects are fair game for me to tutor in. I especially love algebra and trigonometry (though calculus and statistics are fun too). I love tutoring because I love seeing my students faces after something finally clicks. Most students who need tutoring are usually bored of the subject or have given up completely on it. I come in and work one on one with the student to catch them up on the material as well as have fun while doing it. I like to play math games that solidify the content. I also believe in the saying "Practice Makes Perfect," so I like to give my students numerous practice problems in order to have the content stick. All in all, math is beautiful and I want everyone to realize this and believe it too.
