Experience
I have tutored for over ten years for individual students and university tutoring centers, taught college-level Anthropology, Linguistics, and English courses online and in person with classes ranging from 9 to 58 students, and presented nutrition information courses to ESL groups as part of an applied anthropology research project. I am a native speaker of Russian and have a good command of basic Spanish, Portuguese, and Latin. My SAT scores were in the 1400s. My current studies in linguistics and language acquisition offer an invaluable insight into language learning. I believe that any student can learn any subject, given the right approach. Unfortunately this is not always possible in a large classroom. One-on-one tutoring is the best way to find and utilize the strategy to suit your or your child's learning style and help to master any subject.
