Experience
I earned my bachelor's degree in International Relations with a concentration in Middle Eastern Studies and Arabic from Brigham Young University. At present, I am enrolled at the University of Georgia School of Law, where I am working toward my J.D. I have served as an intern at a think tank and congressional office, studied abroad in Jordan, and have also acted as a teaching assistant during my undergraduate days. This diverse array of experiences gives me a range of perspectives from which to approach tutoring. I'm comfortable tutoring a wide variety of subjects, including Spanish, Arabic, reading, writing, history, religious studies, economics, and business, among many others. I am most enthusiastic about tutoring reading, writing, history, and helping students prepare for the SAT. I like to spend time getting to know my students' optimal learning style, academic goals, and challenges they hope to overcome. As a tutor, I ask many questions of my students in order to deepen their understanding of the topics at hand. I am an empathetic and enthusiastic tutor, and I love helping my students achieve their goals. When I'm not tutoring, I like to ride my bike, run, work out, and read.
