I've tutored and volunteered with several programs over the past 3 years (Thomas Lay After School Foundation, YMCA, Oasis, Special Olympics of Georgia, Cedar Shoals high school, United Way Foundation of Biloxi, Shop with a Bulldog). Currently, I am shadowing a resource teacher at Oconee County Primary School (previous teacher of the year for Oconee Country) who has taught me a tremendous amount regarding teaching/tutoring. I've taken multiple education classes (seeing that it's my major) that have really been insightful towards expanding my knowledge on teaching. My emphasis, and passion, is general special education. I really enjoy working with children who have ADD, ADHD, and SDD. I'm extremely passionate about education and making sure that each child gets the attention and resources they need (so much so that it's what i plan on doing for the rest of my life).
