Hobbies

I am a massive nerd who loves learning and sharing what I have learned. Psychology and writing have been passions of mine for over a decade and I have spent that time learning as much as I can about them. I am also an avid reader, fan of Youtube video essays, ballroom dancer, trained hypnotist, former blogger, and overthinker of popular culture. I take pride in knowing a lot about a lot to integrate information in new and interesting ways. My free time generally goes to either dancing, thinking about and discussing popular culture, reading scientific literature, and teaching myself new skills (primarily with Microsoft office and R). My former students have always found me patient, highly adaptable to their needs, highly organized, and very clear in my communication. One of my favorite experiences was teaching a deaf student a 90 second dance routine primarily through written instructions.
