I tutor primarily in English and writing, improving students' writing and critical reading skills for class assignments or standardized tests. I work with students on improving writing and reading comprehension for class assignments on a variety of subjects, and I have experience helping to prepare students for the SAT and ACT. I can offer students many of the strategies I used to get competitive scores on the SAT and ACT, focusing on Critical Reading and Writing. I have extensive tutoring experience: I worked with my high school's mentoring club in junior and senior year, and in summer 2014 worked extensively as an independent tutor. I am currently a student at Emory University working through the school year as a research assistant in Emory's Pitts Theology Library through the school year.
