Hi, my name is Jessica Applegate. I am currently a junior at the University of Georgia majoring in International Affairs and French. In high school, I tutored French 1 and 2 and helped students not only pass the course but to increase their overall knowledge of the French Language. I want to be a tutor because I was also a student who needed tutoring with various subjects. Having a tutor does not mean you are dumb, it just means you want to try harder. Being tutored will help you develop better study skills, understand the subject better, and it will increase your knowledge therefor increasing your grade in the course. This summer I traveled to Paris for a six week study abroad program with the University of Georgia.
