Paul K.
Private tutor in Athens, GA
Education
Recent Graduate from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor's Degree in English and Spanish, and an emphasis in Creative Writing, all with a GPA of 3.8.
Experience
Most recently I was a TA for Advanced Creative Writing 4800 at the University of Georgia. I've also tutored elementary and middle school students in basic math, science, and reading, as well as teaching Spanish and translating between Spanish speaking parents and students. I've also been an assistant coach for Cross Country at Clarke Central High School. I started tutoring in High School because it seemed like something engaging and useful that I could do with my summer breaks, and since then I've tutoring students of nearly every grade level from 2nd graders to Seniors in college. I've studied at Oxford University in England as well as La Universidad del Pacifico in Lima, Peru.

Hobbies
I ran cross country all during high school and for a year in college, and I still run recreationally. I love to read and to write. Though I also love to tinker with tech. I've fixed and rebuilt a number of ipods, phones, and computers for my friends and family and am currently learning to code in Python and C++ and volunteering at Free IT Athens (a free-to-use computer shop that rebuilds, sells, and donates computers). I also love to travel and have spent some time in Peru and England, as well as traveling around various parts of the United States when I can manage it. I'm passably decent at guitar, though self taught, and I love cooking and eating in almost equal amounts.
